Volunteers are needed for the Warner Robins Independence Day Celebration (IDC) scheduled for July 1, 2023.
We will have 4 shifts this year…7a-11a, 11a-3p, 3p-7p, 7p-11p. Volunteers may assist with the following:
• Assist with set up and tear down
• Assist with load in and load out
• Greet public as they arrive
• Direct VIPs
• Delivery of meals to first responders
• Event clean up and general security
• Help stack chairs, take down banners, empty trash, etc.
• Assist where needed by City Staff members
MANDATORY volunteer orientation is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, June 29, 2023 (time TBD), but we might be adding Wednesday, June 28, 2023, as well. The location and time(s) will be announced soon. All volunteers will receive a shirt for volunteering!
Below are the documents for the Volunteer Packet and Background Check consent form. Print out all forms and send completed copies with a copy of your driver’s license to firstname.lastname@example.org ; fax to 478-225-2631; turn the application in person or mail the application to: Warner Robins CVB - 99 N. Armed Forces Blvd., Warner Robins, 31093. Please note that ALL applications required backgrounds checks and must be submitted with this packet. All forms are due by June 23, 2023.

We are accepting vendor applications for the Warner Robins Independence Day Celebration. We are only searching for food and beverage vendors.
Below are the documents needed to complete the registration.
Registration is due to the CVB by June 15, 2023, at 3:00 pm.
You can bring completed registration in person to 99 N. Armed Forces Blvd, Warner Robins,
M-F 8 am-12 pm and 1 pm-4 pm.
Special Events Permit needs to be filled out and included with the 2023 IDC Vendor Contract.
Registration for the event will be $150.00 and this will include the special event permit fee. Checks/Cashier’s Check must be made out to the City of Warner Robins. We cannot accept cash.
Permits will be distributed the day of the event when you check in with me before entering the stadium parking lot.
You will NOT need to visit the tax office, therefore, you can do a one-stop shop with the CVB.
A complete packet should include the following:
2023 IDC Vendor Event Agreement
Certificate of Insurance of at least $1,000,000 (Must name ‘The City of Warner Robins’ and ‘Houston County Board of Education as additional insured)
Copy of business license
If you live WITHIN the city limits of Warner Robins and are not licensed through the City of Warner Robins, please visit the tax office to apply for a business license.
If you are NOT within the city limits, you must obtain a license through your office of residency and pay all application fees for your city/town.
