We are thrilled to announce one of the most spectacular parades in the Southeast: The 2024 City of Warner Robins Christmas Parade! Join us on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to kick off the holiday season. The parade starts on South Davis Drive, near Warner Robins High School.

Please review all provided information carefully before completing the forms. Note that forms submitted with missing information will not be considered.

Each sponsor of a parade unit, regardless of its type, is required to appoint a person of mature judgment as their designated "Unit Safety Officer" to oversee the safety and behavior of all individuals associated with that unit. It is important to note that the unit's driver cannot fulfill this role, as their primary responsibility lies in ensuring the safety and conduct of their passengers. The Unit Safety Officer is responsible for briefing all participants and accompanying the unit throughout the parade. Their duties also include ensuring that children are never left unattended or unsupervised, preventing them from wandering around the staging areas, and ensuring that they do not leave the staging area without adult supervision.

It is mandatory for the Unit Safety Officer to attend a safety briefing, failure to do so will result in disqualification of the unit.

MARCHING UNIT

The City of Warner Robins stipulates that marching units in the parade shall be restricted to bands and units that exhibit exceptional and vibrant displays of costume, drill, or performance routines. The city encourages the inclusion of as much color and excitement as possible to enhance the overall parade experience.

CREATIVE FLOAT

A stable and self-supporting platform is required for the construction of an appropriate set or display. If the platform is intended to be towed by a vehicle, it must have at least two wheels, a stable connecting device or hitch, and positioning beneath the float to ensure stability for both the display and passengers. The applicant is responsible for ensuring the stability of the float, whether it is in motion or at rest, and for ensuring that the placement of the display and passengers on the float provides a safe and stable platform. If the float is self-propelled, it must be a truck with a minimum capacity of two tons, and must have a suitable bed or platform for the construction of the set or display. The maximum trailer length allowed is 26 feet, unless otherwise disclosed on the application. An additional fee will be assessed for extended trailers. Once the parade has begun, no one is permitted to get on or off the float until it has reached the termination zone.

VEHICLES  AND CLUBS

Any form of transportation that is self-propelled and not classified as a float, on which a structure or display can be built and/or within which participants can ride, shall be referred to as "vehicles." Motorized units with a capacity of less than two (2) tons shall fall under this definition. It is important to note that all trailers and/or towed vehicles will be classified as "floats" and should be referred to the Creative Float Section for further information.

The types of vehicles allowed are limited to pick-up trucks with a capacity of less than two (2) tons, convertibles, antique autos, or any VIP auto. Car, Jeep, or any other vehicle clubs are restricted to a maximum of 25 units per application.  You may have up to 3 applications.
